What actually IS the difference between shampoo and conditioner? one cleans, one moisturises? thanx?

Yep. Shampoo actually cleans the hair. Conditioner moisturizes and smoothes the hair. You will find out real quick that your hair will still be greasy if you skip shampooing. But actually, its healthy to not wash your hair everyday. What actually IS the difference between shampoo and conditioner? one cleans, one moisturises? thanx?

nononononononono. shampoo cleanses and cleanses deep within and conditioner smoothes adds shine and fortify.
Shampoo cleans your hair. Conditioner makes it tangle free, and shiny, and kinda puts a protection coating on your hairs to keep them looking healthy, but you have to be careful because some conditioners have wax in them with dries and destroyes your hair.
just what u saiddd
shampoo cleans..conditioner makes it softer, smoother and easyier to comb
yeah, extactly. shampoo cleans the hair and scalp, and the conditioner is like..... lotion. but for hair. it makes it soft and volumized.
You sort of answered your own question...;)

Professional shampoos cleanse the hairshaft of dirt and residue buildup.

Professional conditioners are designed to penetrate the hairshaft and replace moisture and nutrients to the hair. This improves elasticity and strength to the hair.
