Help! I like lash blast but can't get it off. I've tried baby shampoo and one eye makeup remover.?

Baby oil or Vaseline, you can also try baby-wipes if you have these things around the house.

The commerical make-up removers should work.Help! I like lash blast but can't get it off. I've tried baby shampoo and one eye makeup remover.?
I know! I wore it yesterday after not having worn it for a month and that stuff really binds to the lash like nothing else! I use Neutrogena oil-free eye makeup remover and I used like 3 pads and it still left remnants of mascara! Even after I took a shower some of it was still on!

I really love Cover Girl's Lash Exact instead of Lash Blast. I find that Lash Blast is a bit clumpier, but Lash Exact really separates the lashes and doesn't leave any clumps. I've tried many...Smashbox, Mary Kay, Maybelline, etc. I always go back to Cover Girls Lash Exact!!!Help! I like lash blast but can't get it off. I've tried baby shampoo and one eye makeup remover.?
I have had the same problem... it looks so good but it just doesn't come off. I've been using those makeup remover wipes - I get all the makeup off my face, then actually run some water through the wipe so it's really soapy. That tends to work, it comes off in these weird..chunks, I guess you could say. If you dont' have access to those wipes, try Avon's brand or some Skin-so-soft, which removes everything.
Sorry this isn't answering your question, but where do you get ';lash blast';? Who makes it? I want it but dont know where to look, please e-mail me! Oh, by the way, I use clinique soap bar to get off waterproof mascara, that would probably work for you, you get it at the Clinique counter, or online at their store.
hold a wash cloth under hot water and then press and hold it on your lash line for about 5 seconds and then slowly rub it down and keep repeating that until it comes off. then use make up remover to get the rest off.
Try Neutrogena make up remover swipes in a light blue pkg at Walgreens @ $5.99 each plus tax. Removes even permanent mascara water proof.
thats exactly what i use. wash it with baby shampoo. and when it like, stays around your eye, use mineral oil. trust me.
mary kay eye make remover is pretty good for the price, lancome is better...
i get that with my chanel mascara its not waterproof but it dosent come off easily
I don't have that problem.

Are you using the waterproof kind...?

The new herbal essences shampoo. the creamy looking one?

you know the new herbal essences right? the one that looks creamy and looks like theres a twirl in the bottle? is it just me or is that shampoo, REALLY hard to mix in your hair. like the shampoos really stiff and you cant really smother it in your hair. The new herbal essences shampoo. the creamy looking one?
Hello Hydration?

Yeah it is a bit stiff, it doesn't really mix with your like other shampoo and conditioners usually do.

but if you leave it in your hair for a while it does miracles for damaged/dry hair!

It's actually really good.

Help used natural Lice -free shampoo and found a live one in my daughter's hair!!?

I bought Lice-free natural lice shampoo and picked 50,000 nits out of my daughters hair and found a live 1 on the lice comb. The lice shampoos are poison,I need something that's natural and inexpensive that is guaranteed to work!!Help used natural Lice -free shampoo and found a live one in my daughter's hair!!?
Use coconut oil. Rub this all over the hair and scalp, cover and leave on for 2 hours. You will need 2-3 washes to get it out but your daughters hair should be free of any living lice and be beautifully conditioned at the same time with a lovel aroma. You will need to repeat the treatment after 7 days. This works on the principal of SUFFOCATION. And actually, substances in the oil itself are believed to act as a natural insecticide. Thus there could be a dual action. Alternatively if you prefer an over the counter lotion that works along the same lines you can use NUVO (which dries on the scalp so is not messy) or HEDRIN if you live in the UK. However, coconut oil is the cheaper option and conditions at the same time. I would add a few drops of NEEM oil and TEA TREE oil to your daughters shampoo also for repellancy should she again come into contact with the person whom she got the infestation from in the first place. Don't forget to treat the scalp of everyone in the house. I would use a conconut-oil based shampoo inbetween treatments as an added bonus!

Good luck!Help used natural Lice -free shampoo and found a live one in my daughter's hair!!?
you can try the method listed on the website below.

I have used it on my children before and if directions are followed, it works well.

the sad truth is that you will have to do a lot of combing and inspection of your childs head with ANY treatment chemical or otherwise.

if your child has long hair, i suggest cutting it.. easier to treat and it will grow back.

http://nuvoforheadlice.com/method_explai鈥?/a>
By some tea tree oil... depending on how much hair your daughter has, take the lice shampoo you are currently using and mix that with the tea tree oil (melaleuca oil)... about 3 drops of oil to every tablespoon of shampoo.

Use the mixed shampoo and leave it in her hair for about ten-twelve minutes, combing through, if necessary. (Melaleuca oil is a great conditioner, so no worries of tangles.) Rinse.

Repeat this in about two days.

Make sure to test a drop of the oil on your daughter's arm before trying the hair treatment, just to make sure she does not have an allergic reaction.

Good luck!
Nothing but the poison is going to kill the lice. The other suggestions are really good at repelling lice. So, my advice is to use the nasty poison to kill what she has now, and use a Tea Tree oil shampoo to prevent future out breaks. Also, make sure you place sheets on the back of any cloth surface she sits at (your couch) and throw them in the dryer on high for about 45 min each night to kill anything that may have wandered onto the sheet. Once you have the lice gone, if you can't bleach it or toss it in the dryer, throw it out.
I use 'poison' on my daughters' hair and even that doesn't always kill the lice.

You have to just comb and comb and comb until you get all of them (alive or dead) and after that every morning before she goes to school spray a mixture of 1 part rosemary oil 4 parts water on her hair. That will keep them away.

Good Luck.
Vinegar rinse. It smells aweful. Just douse her head with white vinegar, leave it on for 15 minutes, rinse throughly. Pick out the lice and use a fine tooth comb. Her hair will only smell until it is dry, vinegar also will help clear any buildup of hairspray, gel, or shampoo

  • Does any one know a good shampoo to use for color treated hair.?

honestly, theyre all kinda the same in my experience. ive been dying my hair since i was just a kid.. i think its important to rotate shampoos.. dont use one brand forever. and obviously the more expensive it is, most likely means its better quality.. but theyre basically all the same. i rotate between pantene and vive pro stuff.. it smells nice.Does any one know a good shampoo to use for color treated hair.?
    Kenra!

    Two-in-One Shampoo/Conditioner?

Is it ok to use a 2-in-1 for shampoo, and then use a conditioner after it, or should I just stick to regular shampoo?Two-in-One Shampoo/Conditioner?
connie f is right....shampoo and conditioner are different things for different reasons...they do different things! they cant do what they were meant to do, at the same time. it really doesnt take that much longer to shampoo, rinse, condition, then rinse. i recommend and professional product only found in salons...anything is better than drug store. depending what you want for your hair, Biolage Hydrate is a great moisturizing line. after you shampoo, squeeze out as much excess water as you can, possibly squeeze it with a towel quickly if you can to get out even more, then apply your conditioner...the less water on your hair strand, the more room for the conditioner go! then let that sit a couple minutes while you wash your face or body or shave, then rinse...! hope this helps :)Two-in-One Shampoo/Conditioner?
I would stick to regular shampoo and conditioner separately. That way you can control how much conditioner your hair needs. :-)
i don' really like those two in ones. they just seem dodgey but sometimes you have to or its convenient. in that case if your hair is dry or feels not silky but kind of squeaky after washing it with the two in one then by all means use separate conditioner. that schartzcopf conditioner is good. the rebuilding your hair one.. total repair 19 its called. i use that its really good. but if your hair is pretty good anyway then you can just pick and choose :]
it might make your hair look greasy. but it wont hurt you. i would use separate conditioner after plain shampoo and just leave it on long enough to do the job.
ok, as a liscensed cosmetologist for 16 years, I have seen a lot of good and bad hair. Ask yourself this question, would you add wax to the soap you are washing your car with? It just doesn't mix. I have not done any research, but how can you get your hair clean and put a conditioner on at the same time? Either your hair isn't getting clean or its loaded with wax. Thats my theory. If you cant wash and wax your car at the same time, then how can u shampoo and condition at the same time? I rest my case............... Use shampoo and conditioner seperate
Use a 2-in-1, then a conditioner. However, use a deep cleaning shampoo weekly to remove all the build-up!
if you decide to use the 2-in-1 shampoo and then use a conditioner use a deep cleaning shampoo once a week to get rid of all the build up that will be left in your...patene is a great choice. either way u should still use the deep cleaning shampoo it does a great job.(specially if u use hair spray or gel and etc)
NO NO NO NO 2 IN ONE SHAMPOOS ARE VERY VWERY BAD I READ SOME WERE just stick to a shampoo and a Conditioner
Use a regular 2 in 1 shampoo and conditiner like this one!

    =]

    http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a鈥?/a>
A good way to do it if you want to use both is 2 in 1 and seprate conditioner on the ends only. I do this often and I never have ANY problems.
well I guess u should just stick to regular shampoo then put conditioner on because you should just put the conditioner on the tip 'cause your hair might fall out!!!!!!No girl wants that.
stick to regular shampoo and regular conditioner. its better for your hair.

Which one of these shampoo's should I get for my dog (he's a West Highland White Terrier)?

Okay, I was recommended three different brands of shampoo, and I just want to know which one of these three are the best. If you don't know them, you can visit the website and tell me what you think.

    - Bio-Groom

    - Top Paw

    - TropicleanWhich one of these shampoo's should I get for my dog (he's a West Highland White Terrier)?
I would suggest out of the 3 the Bio-groom hypo or actually hypo from anyone over any shampoo for a westie. They have every sensitive skin %26amp; you don't use oatmeal or mediated shampoos unless you are treating a specific problem. Oatmeal isn't hypo %26amp; can cause reactions to dogs with grain allergies so hypo esp. one without dyes, perfumes %26amp; soaps is the best. Hylyt is one the best ones.Which one of these shampoo's should I get for my dog (he's a West Highland White Terrier)?
It really depends on which formula you plan to get. Bio-Groom and Tropi-clean are the better brands, but you need to make sure you're getting a formula suited to your Westie. As a groomer, I find that Westies often have skin problems, so a shampoo designed for skin issues is a good idea. Tropi-clean has a very nice Oatmeal + Tea Tree oil shampoo that would be good for him. Bio-Groom has their Bio-Med formula that would also work. You can get either brand's whitening shampoo as well, but I would only use that in between the medicated shampoo to prevent skin irritation.
hey there i would use Tropiclean if they have w hiterner one or the oatmeals one will work best with ur dogs skin and hair.

Any one know a good shampoo for a severe eczema sufferer?

    Hi Ciara,

    Allergenics Hair Shampoo

Mild cleansing action, particularly suitable for those with easily irritated sensitive scalps prone to eczema and dermatitis. Also suitable for skin that may be prone to eczema and dermatitis.

This is from a range of skin care products designed specifically for eczema for babies and adults.

Here are some comments of users of this range of products.

    ';My son was getting really bad eczema at the back of his knees and on his arms and it took ages for it to settle before using this ointment. It works really well and you don't need to put loads on. Recommended';

    ';My skin has become very dry and sensitive since becoming pregnant and allergenics skin lotion is the only moisturiser I have found that sooths my skin and stops it itching - excellent stuff!';

    ';Already the dry sore skin below my eyes and on my neck is fading and feels more comfortable. I have very senstive skin and I am very wary of the normal cosmetic products.... which caused this problem in the first place!';

    ';My husband was given cream for a skin complaint, it only made the condition worse. As we were on holiday in Torquay %26amp; the skin was much worse I found your cream in a chemist. It started to heal the skin allmost immediately. I am more than pleased to reccommend this to anyone A Aldridge';

I have included a link to an eczema website below that should give you loads of information. I have also included the link of where to buy the allergenics products with free delivery.

    Hi,

Watch this video to see how it is treated in Japan.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxLW-HKgQ鈥?/a>

You can get the water for free in America, and other places too. Check on www.craigslist.com and ask for some 8.5 PH drinking water in the wanted add. Then ask if the same machine can make the 2.5 pH water for free.

Good Luck!Any one know a good shampoo for a severe eczema sufferer?
    Oilatium now does a shampoo.

It's really good. You can get it prescribed by the doctor or buy it at a chemist. It comes quite a small bottle so you may want a few.

    Hope this helps :)
My mum finds that Vosene is the best shampoo for her with her severe eczema, it doesn't bother her at all but it doesn't contain any crazy chemicals lol.
    E45 shampoo?
yes selsun blue medicated the one with the red cap

I have the most dry hair ever and i want to buy an expensive shampoo, which one is the best ?

i am fixuated between redken extreme, all soft, or matrix, biolage, paul mitchell, and healthy sexy hair, pumpkin shampoo, which oine should i buy between them anyone who has tried them gimme feedback, oh ya i straighten my hair too its very curly.............I have the most dry hair ever and i want to buy an expensive shampoo, which one is the best ?
Segals Damaged/Dry Hair Shampoo. Use alongwith their Damaged / Dry Hair Conditioner. None matches it's brilliant output.I have the most dry hair ever and i want to buy an expensive shampoo, which one is the best ?
You don't have to necessarily buy an extremely expensive shampoo. Just go for anything that is extremely moisturizing. What I would advize you to do is to do a series of deep conditioning or hot oil treatmeants at least once a week to restore your dry hair and give it back the moistured balance it once had. Also buy a product that protects against thermal styling so you don't continue drying out and damaging your hair even more when you flat iron it. If you truely desire to buy one of the suggested shampoo and conditoner system I would say to use either Redken or Paul Mitchell. Best of luck.
I love the Biolage line and get one that is for moisture, the shampoo %26amp; conditioner.Lay off the styling products and anything that has alcohol within the first 5 ingredients. These are more drying to the hair. Maybe get a good hair treatment and do it once or twice a week until the hair is getting better.
Paul Mitchell, especially the Lavender mint in the tea tree line. Also make sure you are using a product such as heat seal prior to straightening your hair, if you really need to kick up the moisture a bit on a daily basis try the paul mitchell quick slip or relaxing balm
go to a normal parlour %26amp; get straightening not chemical jst ironing %26amp; den use fructise sleek %26amp; shine shampoo with sleek %26amp; shine conditioner once in 5 days for long lastening straighten hair %26amp; for extra smoothness use fructise leave-in-cream once a week, comb ur hair straight twice a day with a flat brush, try it this will really help u,an advice from haistylist,i also recomended the same treatment for my customer demanding for straight hair

Expense has got nothing to do with being best!!

I would highly recommend the Dove Pro Age range. It is fabulous!!!!

Everyone has noticed the difference in my hair since using Dove.

    Good luck :)
Ask your hairdresser. No one would know better then her :]

Any one knows of good shampoo and condition and hair products for fine hair?

i would like to make my hair nice and full..Any one knows of good shampoo and condition and hair products for fine hair?
Matrix Biolage line of hair care products.

If you don't want salon use Nexus available at Wal MartAny one knows of good shampoo and condition and hair products for fine hair?
    Biosilk or Kiehl
Body Full by Redken, Pure Abundance by Aveda
    suave works for me
I agree with the Matriax, I have baby fine and very thin hair. It works well.
you should try the new shampoo from Bath and Body works. It gives you more body, plus it is for fine and normal hair, and it really works and they have great scents.
Alterna Caviar Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner. So unbelievably awesome. I cannot tell you what a difference that has made to my hair.
please do not think I am crazy and I really hope you do this. I promise it will work... you need to use horse shampoo. It sounds weird but it makes it grow faster and healthier and if you look it up on the internet you will see many women use it. I personally know people who use it.
    biolage line is awesome

matrix is pretty good as well they are professional..you have to get them at a salon or have someone get them at a beauty supply store
i use VO5 and it works great for my thin hair.
I just tried Aussie Awesome Volume shampoo and conditioner. I have fine but curly hair and it works great. It is not overly moisturizing but gives great volume. It smells great too with a melon scent.

  • I just ran out of shampoo and I am going to the store to buy some more (walmart), which one should I get?

I've been using Suave for brunettes and I like it alot I just want to try something else and it has to smell really good too. Oh yeah, it should be in the medium price range because i'm not paying 25.00 for a bottle of shampoo, ya heard?!I just ran out of shampoo and I am going to the store to buy some more (walmart), which one should I get?
I have long hair and suave is really good 2 years ago I had to go on a budget and suave with biolage like shampoo is greatI just ran out of shampoo and I am going to the store to buy some more (walmart), which one should I get?
go in the salon and try and purchase something in there, the shampoo's and conditioners you can buy on the shelf are not good for your hair. Just give the professional products a try you will not ever have it any other way...no joke!
I use finesse shampoo and conditioner.........works great and not expensive. It is about $3.99 for each.
    Dove, revlon or Herbal Essence.
I would suggest Pureology or Ojon. They are both awesome %26amp; you can find both on Ebay for about $10 each. If you have to use store bought, Dove smells good %26amp; so does Herbal Essence as others suggested. However, once you use a really good shampoo, you don't like the cheapies anymore. I can also make an expensive bottle of mine go pretty far.
aussie shampoo and conditioner would be the safest in a wallmart.I could never use sauve its heavy and feels like dish saop.If you used something good for about three months and than tried the sauve you would see what I am saying
Dove shampoo and conditioner is really good. Smells so yummy, makes hair shiny and soft....
none, go to a salon and pay for a quality shampoo, and not something that is goig to leave build up on your hair...and you don't have to pay 25 dollars for shampoo, i work at Great Clips and we have a Solutions line and its no more than like 8 dollars a bottle, and its concentrated so 1 of our bottles is equal to 8 bottles you would buy at walmart!
pantene pro-v color expressions for brunettes works awesome, it smells really good and makes your hair really soft.

if you are goin got walmart though, by me they have john frieda's brunette expressions for really cheap as well - and that also smells really good and keeps your hair very soft.
I don't really know what to tell you what kind of shampoo to get but if i were you i would get pantine pro v becase it helps with split ends and it don't cost that much
Try Finesse moisturizing shampoo. It works good and I think youll like it. AND, Ive tried soooo many of them.....I stuck with Finesse.

Im very picky....Sunsilk is cheap crap, I tried it a couple times last week, cuz my husband bought some, it is crap....leaves your hair feeling dry.
i always use suave too! i get the amplifying one. it works really well. pantene pro-v isn't too expensive and my 2nd fave. also the new herbal essenses shampoo's are supposed to be really good.
I use Pantene ...its really good.
Get John Frieda Brilliant Brunette. It's more expensive (about 7 dollars) but it smells so good and make your hair really shiny.
Don't! see my profile, for why...
OK try sunsilk I switched to it I used Finesse forever but I love sunsilk its leaves my hair smelling so good and soft I use the pink one to tame my frizzed ends.

It really makes your hair healthy!!!Which one is the best salon shampoo to use and Why?
I like Nexus, their whole line of products is awesome! I color my hair a lot and without Nexus, my hair would probably fall out :)
Theres so many brands there is no right answer unless you give more info, What kind of hair do you have, do you color or perm, what do you do on a daily basis to your hair. Give me more info and I will be happy to help you, although hair tends to like change so it good to change every few months.
    I use Paul Mitchell because:

    -He doesn't test on animals

-There is no buildup in my hair after washing it

-The conditioner does not leave a weird feeling in my hair

    -It smells good
Personally i have all ways used matrix they came out with it in like 2000 but it keeps my hair healthy no matter how many times i color it... but only use they ones sold in the salon cuz there are a lot of knock offs

    Shampoo...Pick One?

Okay, so which shampoo works best out of these possiblities?

    1. Herbal Essence Dangerously Straight

    2. Loreal Paris Viv Pro for frizzy, poofy, wavy hair

    3. Sunsilk De Frizz (or the green bottle)

    4. Sunsilk Straighten Up (or the one in the purple bottle)

Please and thank you! If you know any better shampoos that would work for frizzy, wavy, and poofy hair that is also inexpensive please let me know! Again, thank you!Shampoo...Pick One?
    #1 !Shampoo...Pick One?
u got to try alagio silk obsession. it is amazing. it is a salon product, but u can get it real cheap at salonsavings.com
I agree with the second answer. The Garnier Fructis line of shampoos works wonderfully well.
i don't believe any claim that a shampoo/conditioner can straighten your hair. your hair texture is something that is biological and there is nothing topical - short of using the japanese or brazilian straightening - which actually changes the shaft and cuticle of your hair that will have any effect. just a look that is suitable to your hair type and simplify your life. in other words - LOVE WHAT YOU HAVE.
if i had to chose between those #4, but i usually use pantine pro-v.
sunsilk straighten up works well. If you follow up with the matching conditioner your hair will actually be straight.
    fructis smooth and sleek.

    LOVE IT.

it helps to have a variety of different shampoos.

use one one day and another the next.

if your trying to get ride of frizz your gonna

have to blow dry it and try straightening it that

way or with an actual straightener.

shampoos only help. they cant do it all.
these are excellent products for getting rid of frizz and adding a great shine and silky finish to the hair.

    http://www.paulmitchell.com/Products/Pau鈥?/a>

    good luck. = )
I have tried tons of anti-frizz shampoos (including a lot of expensive 'salon' brands) %26amp; none have worked until I tried Loreal Vive Pro shampoo for medium frizzy hair (orange bottle with green block). I also use the vive pro conditioner for thick frizzy hair (orange bottle with blue block) They're excellent.

Also - Try rinsing with cold water...It seems to help too.

How many times a week should one shampoo?

Can you please suggest some scalp friendly shampoo which doesnt cause hair fall. How many times a week should one shampoo?
If I were you, I'd ask a professional after they reviewed your hair type.

When I was younger, I washed my hair every day, and it was frizzy and began to break off. I washed it every day it was really oily on the scalp.

Later, I read an article about how if you overwash your hair, you overstimulate your scalp into producing more oil.

Now I wash my hair every two days (sometimes three) and my hair is much healthier, shinier and more managable. It doesn't get very oily either.

As for the kind I use, it's John Frieda's Brilliant Brunette. How many times a week should one shampoo?
    24x7 for 365 days...just kidding
    arnica homoeopathic shampoo
If you are living in hot and humid conditions, you should do it on daily basis. But if you are in cold conditions, you may need only twice a week. In India, Clinic All clear is really great. But we have got a great SATINIQUE range of shampoos through A.I.E., USA. under the organisation Winners Int'l.
Thrice a week but mostly it depends on your choice and shampoo that suit you.
    1x
baby shampoo is more sensitive than most brands and works just as well
A lot of people say that u should wash ur hair one day and the other u should just wash ur body.Have u tried Pantene Pro V?
If you are haveing your hair fall out you need to ee a dermitologist

you may need a perscription shampoo

as far as how offten you should shampoo

it depends on how oily your hair is

If your hair looks oily wash it if not then skip that day if your hair is dry wait two days
Short hair daily, long hair twice in a week.

Sunsilk is the bast bet for all kinds of hair!
use a shampoo and conditioner everyday,so that your hair will be clean and beautiful...i think it depends on what you hair type is...for me i use clairol herbal shampoo/conditioner...but to be o a safe side use johnson and johnson
see u may have good shampoo in ur country but here in India we have a nice herbal shampoo u must try if u get it in ur country its ';Himalaya Drug Company'; manufactured Protine shampoo.

U must shampoo ur hair twice a week.
ONE SHOULD WASH HAIR ATLEAST TWICE A WEEK
    At least twice a week.

Use a mild shampoo and conditioner. But remember to have a good diet.
If i was u shampoo every day because when your sweat your hair gets sweaty too i shampoo every day and i have very healthy shiny hair. I also have hair spray called INFUSIUM23 it helps dry damaged hair my hair used to be damaged and now its not and INFUSIUM23 should be at your local stores.
i don't know, but illl say that did you know that your not supposed to condition the top of your head? yeah, becuz that hair just came out of your head so it duzn't need to be conditioned. plus it weighs your hair down.
yea you should wash your hair 2-3 times a week depending your hair condition the more you wash or daily hair wash with shampoo can lead to hair breakage an even lead to baldness specially for men
i think girls use it 4 times in a week and boys use it twice a week
depends on your type of hair... probably everday, i was suggested to wash twice a day :S
I have to shampoo every day, I have oily hair. I just use VO5 shampoo, or Suave
Frenzy, it all depends on you sweetie. If I use product, I have to shampoo the next morning, or that night to get my hair so that I can brush it...My hair is on the dry side, so I condition often. Your vitamin deficiency is causing your hair to fall out, not what you shampoo with. Try a vitamin B complex to help that, along with a multivitamin/mineral complex. It all depends on your age too. Women and men both begin to lose hair near to middle age and older. Stress will make the hair fall out as well. Use a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, just don't' over do the conditioner, it will make your hair limp. Good luck. Nana
5-7, mild shampoos say they are mild on the label..
I shower at least once every day and shampoo, but I'm pretty certain shampoo doesn't effect hair fall.
in order to avoid hair fall shampoo your hair every other day or rather thrice a week and use shampoo that is compatible to your hair use aloe vera shampoo or shampooo with coconut.
depends on your hair and scalp type. i prefer daily. if your hair is falling out, see your doctor for some lab work. sounds like a thyroid problem to me.
EVERYDAY%26gt;....use baby shampoo if ur that sensitive
Twice a week at a maximum...
I use organic/natural hair products...and they're the best shet I ever put in my hair. Aubrey's Organic shampoo and conditioner works great. They have different kinds depending on your hair type. And I'd recommend one to two shampoos a week, depending on type of hair and how you style it. Invest in a cheapass hairmask or whatever they're called to avoid it getting wet in the shower.
You should shampoo in moderation read some hair tips and articles on this site

Does shampoo really effect how one's hair comes out?

I personally don't think it makes too much of an impact. Am I correct? LOL, probably not.Does shampoo really effect how one's hair comes out?
Whenever I shampoo my hair it gets all poofy, I hate it.Does shampoo really effect how one's hair comes out?
no, it just cleans your hair...conditioner will make your hair less tangles.
All shampoos have different ingredients.... yes, all shampoos clean your hair, but, some leave behind yucky substances that damage your hair. For example: Herbal essence shampoo %26amp; conditioner is waxed based... this wax base coats your hair and ultimately damages it. So, in other words all shampoo's are not the same.
for me it makes a difference...some leave my hair really frizzy and gross...i think some ppl can use anything. they are lucky. :)
i don't think it matters too much..

i use the cheapest stuff i can find.. and my hair looks fine lol

i would spend more money on some leave in conditioner or serum to put on after you wash your hair.. and then just buy the cheap shampoo.. that's what i do.
It sure affect mines. When I use Sunsilk my hair is so soft and awesome. When I use other shampoos it looks dry not healthy.
YES, SHAMPOO DEFINITELY CAN DETERMINE HOW YOUR HAIR COMES OUT. MY SISTER IS A HAIRDRESSER AND SHE CLUES ME IN. AND I'VE ALSO LEARNED THIS FACT THE HARD WAY. BUY THE APPROPRIATE TYPE SHAMPOO FOR YOUR PARTICULAR HAIR. AND DON'T BUY CHEAP STUFF. AFTER ALL YOUR HAIR IS ONE OF THE FIRST THINGS THAT PEOPLE NOTICE.
it depends on the person and their hair type. my sister, for example, has loose curls in her hair and it tends to be frizzy and dry, so she needs to use a moisturizing shampoo. and then on the other hand, i dye my hair, so it can get damaged. i use a shampoo that's safe for color treated hair (or else my color would fade faster) that also has moisturizers to soften my colored hair and keep it from getting dry and feeling like straw.
ooohhhh yeah! big time! Well on me, when i use like Suave for dry hair, it leaves my hair looking thin and flat and when i use like Westin Bonaventure Hotel shampoo, my hair comes out silky and soft. When i use Dove my hair gets dry and when i use Garnier Fructis, my hair gets full, silky and bouncy! :)
Actually, different shampoos have different types of ingredients....therefore they have different effects on your hair...and some have more nutrients for your hair and your scalp...plus the smells are different...which I think is very important....here is some variety...:

  • Is using one shampoo and conditioner brand bad for you or good for you?

I've heard from a lot of people that you should always use the same shampoo, and conditioner because that way your hair gets used to it. But, I've also heard that using different ones is better because then it always works for your hair, where as using the same shampoo and conditioner for your hair won't leave you with great results. IDK Just tell me if its better to use different shampoos, or the same brand consistently??! Please help- Thanks =DIs using one shampoo and conditioner brand bad for you or good for you?
    No, it's not bad.

Check the ingredients comparing shampoos or conditioners: they are basically the same ingredients, just different fragrances.

People that market shampoo/conditioner make it sound like using both the same brand is good so they get more money for their product. it's all business.

If you go to a hair salon, you can see they use all different kinds of shampoos and conditioners because each one works differently for different hair types.

According to Andrew Marr it is better to never wash or shampoo one's hair. Any comments?

He's right - you should never need to wash your hair. The only reason hair gets greasy and smelly is precisely because we wash it too much. Shampoo strips the scalp of its natural oils and when washed, it goes onto overdrive to produce more.

If you stop washing it (you can rinse it with water, just don't use shampoo), it starts to clean itself after about 6 weeks - I did it once for a year and it didn't smell or seem dirty at all. The only reason I now wash my hair is because I have it long and use straighteners, which dries it out.

But if you leave it completely to its own devices and don't tamper with it by colouring/styling/heat-drying it, it will be fine :)According to Andrew Marr it is better to never wash or shampoo one's hair. Any comments?
How about, eeeeewwwwww?According to Andrew Marr it is better to never wash or shampoo one's hair. Any comments?
true, the natural oils in your hair will keep it healthy
If you live on a desert island, with no parasites, have no skin conditions, and have no-one to offend, he's probably right.
Better for who??? Thats disgusting. And who the hell is Andrew Marr?? His hair must look like he has had 10W40 poured on his head.
Is Andrew Marr bald? I'm not sure where he's getting this idea, but it's better to wash and condition your hair regularly than to let it just be subject to weather damage.
Have you seen people who never shampoo their hair? It looks bloomin' awful! Believe me, I've seen people who preach this crap, and it's utter rot.

Centuries ago, most of us didn't really need to wash our hair. The air itself was cleaner because we weren't burning fossil fuels at a rate of knots. So if you live somewhere really primitive with no-one around to offend, go ahead and try it.
Ewww! I don't know who Andrew Marr is but that is just nasty. :P
I'd tell that person to stay at least six feet away from me.
He is an idiot. I hope he shaves his head.
it is possible for your hair to clean itself with natural oils, and it is kept just as clean as it you wash it.

however if you have been using shampoo etc... on your hair this stops the natural oils from being produced and cleaning your hair, these however kick in again after about 5 months of not washing your hair.

    so stick to the shampoo.
No it isn't you filthy beast.
I sell organic produce at a local market.

Some of my customers are a group of artists all living together in a creative commune. They are lovely people %26amp; I consider them friends but my God they reek. They are all living back to nature with no man made chemicals in their diet or on their bodies. My eyes literally water when they come 2ft close to me.I have long hair %26amp; a beard %26amp; once went 3 months without a proper bath or shower while working in the artic . I'll tell you the minute I got home I must of spent 2hrs in the shower %26amp; went thru a whole bottle of shampoo. To this day I can;t go a day without running water over my head %26amp; body.
I f I don't wash my hair everyday I look and feel like cr-p. I an old geezer and still have great hair.
You need to wash!! If you are concerned, use non chemical formulas. Organical shampoo's are great. Wash ever other day as well. I do think we as a civilized world need to wash....to stop disease, lice, dander etc.
That may well be true but I would prefer to pass.

    Tigi bedhead shampoo, which one?

i would like to buy the tigi bedhead shampoo because many claim that it is good. is it that good after all because my friend recommend schwarzkopf? i used girls toys shine serum by tigi once and it is magnificent. i hope it has the same result for the shampoo too.Tigi bedhead shampoo, which one?
I don't really like that shampoo to be honest.

I've tried Control Freak, Self Absorbed, and Comfort Food.

Comfort Food is the best one, but it's TiGi Catwalk and not Bedhead.

Try Redken instead, it's so much better.

My shampoo fried my hair a little...Does any one know of a good deep conditoner that would help?

Aveda... It is the best but a little expensive but it's worth itMy shampoo fried my hair a little...Does any one know of a good deep conditoner that would help?
I would have to say the deep conditioner from the EverPURE line.

Its really nice, and 100% vegan too!

But the Pantene one is good to.

Pantene has protein in their shampoos so it breaks off hair, so make sure if you get that pantene one to check if it has protein in it.

And also get a shampoo and conditioner set with NO protein in it.

For shampoo and conditioner the one in the huge yellow bottle with horse one it is amazing.

I think its called Horse Main or something like that.

Only if you want the color to last longer, color treated shampoos help to close the cuticle of the hair to help lock in the pigment, so I would say that would be your best bet.I have had my hair coloured do i have to use a shampoo for coloured hair? Which one?
Biolage for colored treated hair works good and smells good or try Redken or Dove I love allI have had my hair coloured do i have to use a shampoo for coloured hair? Which one?
pantene for coloured hair is good and dove for coloured hair. u can get shampoos for highlights or darkened highlights.
    Not nessicarley but you can
i highly recommend John Frieda, I use the red and my friend uses the brown - they are both FAB!!!! L'Oreal do a good conditioner for coloured hair too
yes you could use a shampoo for coloured hair as it makes the colour last longer. you could also use a conditioner for colour hair. There are many shamppo and conditioners for coloured hair some of the good ones are.. garnier and l'oreal.
you don't have to use a shampoo for coloured hair. My personal favourite is Redken Extreme as it has a lot of proteins in it and helps to keep my hair healthy. I colour my hair reasonably often and have found this to be the best for my hair.

Good luck, I think as long as you find a shampo that suits your hair you will be fine as everyone's hair is different.
    yes
Yes you should. They help color stay in longer and help to repair the damage the coloring does to your hair.

Loreal and pantene both have good lines.
U can use Ultra Doux conditioner for coloured hair, or lakme hair next shampoo for coloured hair

Ultra doux worked for me, hope it works for u too.
I agree with the above. John Frieda is the best. My hair is in excellent condition, it shines lovely . It does cost a bit but it is worth it. I use all the products. Go for it , you won't be sorry.:))

Is it okay to use two different shampoos at one time?

I have greasy hair but would also like to use a shampoo that straightens. as most straightening shampoos are for dry/damaged hair rather than oily hair, is it okay to use a greasy hair shampoo on my scalp and root area, and a straightening one on the rest of my hair?Is it okay to use two different shampoos at one time?
I dont see why not seeing as i do that myself, however it varies on different people's types of hair.

If it doesnt suit you, you could always stick to say the non-greasy shampoo (citrus shampoos are best btw) and then use a serum or sleek or anti-frizz spray on the rest of your hair after washing? John Frieda and Pantene are good, im sure theres others too.

Or, stick to the straightening shampoo and not let your hair get as greasy by cutting down on greasy food, not touch your hair with your hands so much, and adding a little talcum powder to soak up the grease and keep it dry.

Whichever suits you best, i guess.

ALWAYS opt for moisturizing shampoo. ALWAYS! :)

Nothing is better for your hair than a boost of moisture. Whether it's TIGI brand, Dove, Biolage, or whatever, the best shampoo to get is the moisturizing. From all the damage we're exposed to (curling/straightening irons, hair dryers, pollution), we need the extra help.PICK ONE [shampoo]; easy 2 points + one best answer =]?
I think you should use the curls rock shampoo because it would help tame the poofy / frizz hairs to curls which would blend in with the curls you already have and would look more natural.
1........................ the TIGI Bed Head Control Freak Shampoo........ will give you ''Frizz Control'' and straight beautiful hair. The thick lather and rich fragrance will make your hair shine and It will ''stomp the curl and fight the frizz. ''

i recommend the first choice ...because ...after i saw what it is used for....i thought ';this is just wat she needs'; ...so tell your mom to buy you the first one....i hope this helps..=)and i know with the shampoo u will have more BEAUTIFUL hair
TIGI Beadhead Control Freak Shampoo. I say that is the best choice because if you feel like wearing your hair straight by flat ironing it you can easily do so with out having to deal with a shampoo that makes your hair even curlier. for a decent condition that doesn't cost a lot try suave. they moisturize very good.

I personally have used moisture maniac, but I prefer not to use TIGI at all. Try anything by aveda.
I would have to say #1. If you say you have frizzy hair this one seems to do what you're looking for. I've also seen it in hair salons so it must be good.
moisture maniac because it is amazing and works really well.

i have silky hair normally, and i haven't really used one before. Is a simple hair conditioner really needed everytime one shampoos?
I usually conditioner my hair everyother time I shampoo, just because my hair gets tangled easily and it helps to get rid of those and make it softer. If your hair is naturally silky you may not need to conditioner at all, but I just find it helps mine. If you conditioner every itme you shampoo, that really isn't necsasary. Is a simple hair conditioner really needed everytime one shampoos?
no conditioner isn't needed every time u wash your hair because using conditioner to much will make your hair look greasy

    Well, yeah. Of course...

I don't know if you've seen the movie Billy Madison...it's an old Adam Sandler movie. You sound really, really young though so probably not. But there's a part in it where he's sitting in the tub, and he's drunk, and making the shampoo and conditioner bottles talk like puppets, and he goes:

';Shampoo is better. I go on first and CLEAN the hair.

    Conditioner is better! I leave the hair silky and smoooth.';

Hah, I don't know why this made me think of that.

Anyways, yeah, you'll be fine. It'll be super clean, just really dry and static-y.

It's only if you use JUST conditioner that your hair won't be clean.
Yes because shampoo cleans your hair, conditioner just softens your hair, you can definitely go a day or two without conditioner I've done it many many times.
yes you can,i did it for 14 years(i just started using conditioner last month)
It'll be clean but it might not be very soft/easy to handle. Might seem a bit dry.

Is it okay to use two different shampoos and one conditioner?

i use ice cap revitalizing shampoo, herbal essence anti dandruff shampoo, and then herbal essence hello hydration conditioner.

sometimes i use biolage deep conditioner (about once a week)

is this okay? or is it worse for my hair?Is it okay to use two different shampoos and one conditioner?
It's actually good to rotate or alternate shampoos, hair can become accustomed to one shampoo if used continuously and it will have less of an effect, also using the same shampoo with silicones will cause product build up so alternating with a non-silicone variety is sensible.

EDIT If you're using them all at once then that's completely unnecessary bordering on silly, it's of no benefit whatsoever to your hair, it just means you'll have three potentially-drying and conflicting foaming agents being thrown at your hair instead of one, not very good at all, they will cancel each other out and strip your hair of its natural oils. Just invest in a good shampoo and conditioner (designed to work together) from a salon. Is it okay to use two different shampoos and one conditioner?
yea. why not? but, i wouldnt use the 2 in one shampoo and conditioners. those suck cuz its like dumping together shampoo and conditioner and putting it on the same time. the shampoo supposed to clean it but if u use the conditioner with it,it doesnt help cuz conditioner is supposed to make ur hair coated or something like that so if u use both together, its just coating ur hair with dirtiness. idk thats my logic
    Its perfectly ok.

It wont do anything to your hair.

    :]
no i use different types of shampoos and noting happens only that it leaves my hair soft

Can I mix 4 shampoos in one bottle and to wash my hair?

sounds like you have lice...you're nastyCan I mix 4 shampoos in one bottle and to wash my hair?
Is ur hair thick or fine, curly or straight? You might lose your hair so be careful if you mix products, read the ingredients bcos u don't want a shock! Try using a specialist shampoo for greasy hair and rinse with fairly hot water, repeat the process and then put a special conditioner to the dry ends (or oil) and leave it in, if there's too much conditioner in the ends, semi-rinse. Repeat that every 2 days and you'll probably be happy quite soon.
You could but I think it would make it more oily. I found Fructis (green bottle $3.00 a bottle) works really well. Make sure your rinse you hair very well with warm or hot water. That should help. If you use alot of products a deep conditioner may help rinse all the gunk out. I would not mix 4...I would give the ones I don't like away (that's what I do)
You mustn't mix even two shampoos during one wash! they have different pH-levels, and you'll have horrible results.

If you have oily scalp, try a mild shampoo and then rinse your hair with some herbs-extract: for this consult dermatologist. after that apply conditioner for dry hair - but only on hair-ends.

don't rinse your hair with hot water: this will irritate your scalp and make it produce even more oil. water must be cool-warm.

i have the same problem, but my hair looks gorgeous:)

    good luck

well, that depends on ur type of hair... and 4 me, sometimes i mix shampoos, but it doesnt seem good with all the shampoos, u can find n magazines ur type of hair, and what goes on it, i use 2 types of shampoos.. they may look old .. but they work.. i use dove, and head and shoulders... its seems lame and stupid, but its NOT.
Mixing them will not help. Buy a good conditioner to use after you shampoo.
    just try it
    Sure...why not?.....But you'd probably smell like some crazed french whoa..........Thats WHOOOOO-A.
yes you can get all of the helpings in one like straight and silky and color save and strong etc
It is actually beneficial to change your shampoo. I use Sauve during the week and Selsun Blue on the weekend.

You may want to use a shampoo that works on oily scalp and a leave on conditioner to work on those dry ends.
dont mix it up u use it differently one by one otherwise ti WILL KILL YOUR HAIR!!!!
Yes you can as long as they are regular shampoos and the fragrances are compatible.

You do not want to mix shampoos like dandruff ones with others because it will cut down on their effectiveness.

Also make sure the fragrances you want to mix mix well together. The last thing you want is to end up with some horrible smelling shampoo.

Mix one one cap full of each together first, smell it and then use it and see what happens.

You may be surprised with the Aveda products; I was. I thought they'd be great (more $ supposed to = better product) and they are all-natural but don't clean my hair quite right / leave it the way I want. I decided to try Aveda after the owner of the salon I go to was talking about how the cheap products damage your hair because they're too harsh. Of all that I've tried, I love Biolage the best because it just leaves my hair the shiniest, softest, and smelliest.
Aveda is a professional product line committed to being environmentally friendly and safe for the consumer (plant based=less chemicals).

I have used some of the Biolage products. I have very thick hair and love redken products although most people would find them to heavy except for it is the only way to get my hair to lay.

also any dove shampoo smell good ant it leaves hair soft hydrated great for damaged hair it really repairs it.I'm about to run out of shampoo and conditioner which one do you suggest I try next?
Garnier for long hair work really good, you can get both the same brand for long hair and processed hair, that one is extra good for your hair.

I like the Victoria's Secret So Sexy line, work great for long hair and is the best smell ever in my opinion, not expensive at all.

they have little sample sizes you can get and try it at home.
    wwwwweeeeellllllllllll,

I don't know what kind you use now, but my hair is long too! and my Favorite shampoo is Garnier Fructis Fortifying, sleek and shine. It keeps my hair looking and feeling SSSOOO healthy and I use it everytime I'm in the shower. I even used Wella Wellite and bleached my hair for 2 hours, (most hair would break and damage) but mine didn't even burn, break, and it looks blonde and beautiful! :) I use (its not expensive ethier!)

my conditioner is Nexus Hydra Sleek, it was hiding in the back of my products closet and when I was looking for a new conditioner, I found it and it worked great! you notice a difference right away, and your hair will feel healthy. Before I used Suave, and found that it made my hair smooth, but it didn't stay that way for very long....my hair would start getting greasy in a day! :(( eeewww, but the Hydra Sleek works great!

Pantien Pro-v works good to!, but its a little more expensive! it's up to you!!

    hope this helped!!! :))
    Bed Head Tigi

It smells so good. I go to my salon just to smell this stuff. Excellent. A little pricey (roughly $15 for a bottle of shampoo), but it's good stuff. I like the lime green kind most. I think they have some heat-protection stuff, so that'll lesson the damage that you might be inflicting by blowdrying your hair so often. :]

try the ';sunsilk'; shampoo and conditioner it leaves your hair super smooth.

Head and shoulders are the rulers in dandruff. They were the originals and continue to dominant the dandruff world. Plus it makes your hair feel like virgin hair (perfect, flawless, fresh, etc).

Why do people use more than one kind of shampoo and conditioner?

using the same one too much, your hair will get 'use to it' . its good to swtich things up once in a while. Why do people use more than one kind of shampoo and conditioner?
you know what shut up ok..your a n idiot Report Abuse

So, is the ingredient in shampoo that makes hair healthier the one that stings?

lame question- i know. but i was sitting in the bathroom today, looking at my kids' tear-free shampoo and started thinking, ';why the heck does mine have to sting?'; can't they make a sting free adult shampoo? or would it not be as healthy for your hair? i have 4 young kids by the way- sometimes sitting in the bathroom is the only break i get:)So, is the ingredient in shampoo that makes hair healthier the one that stings?
Yeah, baby shampoo isn't good for adult hair. It's not an ingredient, per se, it's the pH balance. Baby shampoo has the same pH balance as a human eyeball - that's why it doesn't sting.

I play games on my cell phone in the bathroom, LOL.So, is the ingredient in shampoo that makes hair healthier the one that stings?
snotto is close, it's the PH, and it's the alcohol, that makes it sting.
    lmao

they should make it for adults %26amp; others

that is really weird that they think only babies cry

come on, i cry more than babies!!
I use that baby shampoo too. I think they leave all the chemicals out of the tear free shampoos!

I need information on loreal shampoo, like one para or something, i can't find it anywhere!?

    I don't understand the question, so here's the link to L'Oreal.com. ----%26gt;

Why does my puppy get fleas one day after I wash her with flea shampoo???

    PLEASE READ WHOLE THING!

My puppy is a german shepard/golden retriever and is seven wks. She has black rough spots (not fur color) on her head (not sure if fleas) and blach hard bumps. I just washed her one day ago with ';Flea %26amp; tick Sponge-on'; but now there are wierd black and stiff stuff on her body. PLEASE HELP! :(Why does my puppy get fleas one day after I wash her with flea shampoo???
Maybe she got back into the Fleas, you might want to get your house exterminated. Or it might take a week or 2 for the shampoo to work inWhy does my puppy get fleas one day after I wash her with flea shampoo???
Make sure you wash ALL of her bedding! Including your bedding and any other couch covers, other dogs bedding annnd anything that the fleas could have come in contact with, especially carpet!!

Fleas love a clean coat, so even if you get rid of the ones that were on her, the ones in her bedding, couch, ect. will just jump right on!!Good luck!! Fleas are horrid.
fleas don't just stay on puppies!! they are in the carpet and in the furniture etc,, also most shampoos do not kill the eggs and they hatch after you shampoo it!!! you may have a yard full of fleas too,, they had to come from somewheres!! so you need to treat your yard too...however,, what you said about the bumps etc is not FLEAS!!! your pup has something else..
Continue to wash and bathe her every few days. You may need to visit the animal clinic to see if they have something for this. As it could be an allergy for young pets.

She may possibly be allergic to the shampoo you are using. Was the black bumps already there before shampoo? Try calling the clinic and see if they know what it could be. This is the best advice I can think of.
Well do what the directions say and if that doesn't work go to the vet. But if you don't want to do that maybe you sould do it every day intill the fleas are all gone.
flea shampoo kills the fleas that are on her at bathtime. Fleas don't live on the dog but in the carpet and furniture or the ground and once she's dry the fleas are on her feeding on her blood.

I suggest taking her to teh vets and make sure this is the problem and get a once a mnth flea treatment.

You may also want to exterminate or bomb your house as teh saying goes for every flea you find on the dog there is 100 in teh house .
A flea shampoo is only good for the dog...After you wash him...You must also treat the places in which the dog sit and lays down...A flea bomb might be required because fleas that are not on your dog will find the way back to your dog again., and again...

I set a few flea bombs in my apartment and while on, I took my dog to the vet and had him de flea it....Before I brough my dog back to the apt. I wash all my covers, sheets and such. plus I vacumm all the rugs again.

    Good luck
Flea Shampoo only kills whatever is on them, at the time of the bath. Go to Wal-Mart %26amp; buy some cheap garlic/yeast pills or garlic by itself. Stick this in his daily food %26amp; do it every day; after a week or two, you will then see a 95% flea reduction. You have to give it to them every day, for their bodies doesn't store it, %26amp; it takes a while for it to get into all the pores of his skin. If you need to, you can coat the pills with margarine or peanut butter or whatever the dog really likes.
My cat had fleas really bad and I went to the pet store and talked to those people. There is a pill you can give your cat or dog(safe for both) called CapStar. They kill the fleas within 15 minutes and fleas stay off for 24 hours. I suggest that you give the puppy a pill..(roll up in cheese or stick in a soft dog treat) and sweep your floors really goood! There is some flea carpet powder you can buy at walmart. Thats what I did and my cat has no longer had any fleas! Hope it works!
Actually, fleas are more attracted to clean hair than dirty hair.

So basically washing your dog may make it smell better, but makes him/her more susceptible to fleas at the same time.

I would recommend an anti flea drop, it works on my dog.
Most flea shampoos are crap that will do more harm than good. Go to the vet and get some frontline or a similar product.
Because flea shampoo doesn't work!! No flea treatments from pet stores do!!

You need to get proper flea treatment from a vets, they're the only ones that work.

Flea look like small, black or brown fast moving insects. You don't always see them when they're present - you're more likely to see their poos when you comb your dog. These look like clusters of black specks, comma or spiral shaped. They turn red when you put them on wet paper because they're digested blood.

Don't wash her for 48 hours before or after applying and proper flea stuff. I'm not sure what you're describing is fleas, but regardless, flea shampoo won't work and all dogs need to be flea treated. If you don't think it is fleas, take her to a vet to be looked at and find out what it is.

    Chalice
CUZ IF U USED THE SHAMPOO FROM A WAL MART K MARTS OR SOME OTHER PLACE THAN A VET ITS NO GOOD!!!!! THAT JUNK ALOT OF PEOPLE WASTE MONY ON IS LOUSY.....

    REASON I SAY THIS THE SHAMPOO IS NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO KILL ALL FLEAS;

IN STORE SHAMPOOS ARE ABOUT 1 TO 3% OF INGRENTENS YOU NEED THATS NOT ENOUGH

YOU WAST TIME MONEY WATER AND COULD HARM YOUR PET WITH THESE PRODUCTS,,,,,,

GO TO YOUR VET HAVE CRITTER CK OUT THEN SEE ABOUT REAL FLEA KILL FROMYOUR VET,,,,,
I would take her to a vet, or at least call a vet, but it could be because the fleas don't only live on her, they live every where (not to gross you out, but...) they can live on you, carpet, furniture, trampolines, (lice can too) other animals, pretty much anything 'furry' or 'hairy' Ivory soap kills fleas too, that way you don't have to use the probably pricy flea shampoo, and you can clean everything! (especally is she is indoors) and when i mean clean everything, litterally CLEAN EVERYTHING!!! if it is in anyway posible to clean, clean it, you want those fleas gone! I know! Another thing you need to do is get her on advantix as soon as she is old enough, (not sure the age, I THINK 6 mmonths, but it may even be younger) their are other brands, but that's what I like the best. I have no clue what the rough black spots are, that is why I recomend a vet! Good luck and I hope you solve the problem!
maby....some evil dude, replaced the bottle of Flea repellent....with flea attractor.... have u tried pulling off the label to reveal the true contents of the bottle?

  • Which is the best purple shampoo, one that would really work ?

okay I dye my hair blonde, I have naturally light brown hair.

I dye it natural palest blonde 99 from nice n easy. it comes out a little brassy though. I sort of have the the Louren Conrad colour. but I want it ashy and greyish looking, like with a platimun shine.

what would be the best purple shampoo to buy. one that would really make my hair platinum looking.

BTW , i know that it wont lighten my hair, i just want to get rid of the brasiness.Which is the best purple shampoo, one that would really work ?
    u dont use a purple shampoo....you use a toner

    a purple or blue toner

Is defriss shampoo and conditioner also one that will help with dry hair?

Some brands, like VivePro or Pantene, do make shampoos for hair in like a ';defrizz'; category, then subcategories of ';dry hair,'; ';normal hair,'; etc.

The only potential problem in using defrizzing shampoo is that, depending on the chemicals, it could leave a lot of product on your hair and make it look stringy if it's dry. I recommend using a deep shampoo, like V05 Hot Oil treatment or Aussie 3 Minute Miracle once or twice a week to moisturize and condition, and then use whatever shampoo you like!

    Good luck!

The best volume shampoo - which one?

What is the best volumizer shampoo you've tried? Money is not issue, it can be cheap or expensive.

It'd be even better if you can tell which ones you've tried, and which one is the best out of them. Thank you very much. The best volume shampoo - which one?

2-In-One Shampoo & Conditioners: Good or Bad?

My hair stylist said that they make no sense (the shampoo cleans away the conditioner), but I remember reading somewhere that it's okay to use with short haiIr. I don't know about using a separate conditioner with my short (chin length) hair b/c it might make it too oily. I've just been using the two-in-one and a leave in conditioner spray. Should I just buy shampoo and not waste my time on two-in-ones?2-In-One Shampoo %26amp; Conditioners: Good or Bad?
2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner is not good. It really doesn't make any sense. I went to hairschool, so i know a lot about this kinda stuff. It doesn't matter if your hair is long or short, it stills needs conditioning. If your hair gets too oily when your using a conditioner, then you're probably using the wrong type for your hair. You should be using a light conditioner, and you don't need to use a lot, especially if you have short hair. Avoid putting conditioner on your roots. I would recommend a professional shampoo and conditioner, they don't cost that much. If i were you i would try Redken clear moisture shampoo and conditioner, it's for normal to dry hair, it's gentle, and it will condition your hair without leaving it oily. I'ts nice and light. I hope i helped!2-In-One Shampoo %26amp; Conditioners: Good or Bad?
i have been a hair dresser for 15 years and your stylist is correct they don't make any sence all they are is a shampoo with a little bit of conditioner in it so it condidtions while you shampoo but nothing beats a good conditioner if your hair is not dry or tangley you can just shampoo but once a week condition after you shampoo it needs a layer of conditioner every once in a while and it will not make your hair oily use the right kind of conditioner i would like to recomend a kenra conditioner it is the best
2 in ones do not work very well. I stick to a shampoo and conditioner separately for a few reasons. If you don't leave a 2 in 1 in long enough, the conditioner doesn't have a chance to work. Most people shampoo for a second and then rinse. A separate conditioner will also double as a deep conditioner. You can apply it after you shampoo and leave it in for as long as needed for extra conditioning. I also use the conditioner when I shave because it leaves my skin silky smooth, even better than shave gels.
shompoo opens the hair follicles and the conditioner closes them....... you need them seperate.
I think that your stylist is wrong. 2 in 1 shampoo%26amp;conditions are awesonme. They work great on my hair. I use Pantene Pro-V. It really takes out a lot of knots and makes your hair a bit thinner. But it does no damage to your hair. Try it!
    BAD! Stay Away!

The two in one defeats the purpose as to why they were separate in the first place.

In this instance ';things worth-while don't come easily'; holds true, take the extra time to separately shampoo and condition!
    your stylist is right.

    makes no sense.

the deal is............ if you ask 100 women if they use a daily conditioner......85 of them will say ';';YES';........

then if you ask those same 100 women if they have damaged hair........75 of them will say ';yes';......

what does that say for the so called ';DAILY CONDITIONER';??

    it doesn't work.

What I recommend to my clients is:

Spend your money on a better shampoo....one without SLS in it....Sodium lauryl Sulfate...

    then

ONLY if you have problems with tangling after shampoo should you use a spray detangler or a spray leave in condtioner.........after.....

no tangles? no 2nd step needed.

It is just a MARKETING ploy by the shampoo manufacturers - - you do not need it. It is useless.

One of the bigger problems we see in the Salon is product ';build-up'; and that is from the useless conditioners caked on....

If your hair is trashed and truly needs conditioning?

Fix the source of the trashing...first...

No hair get trashed....unless ';we'; trash it....from FIA Flat Iron Addiction, over processing, Boxed hair color kits,etc...

then DEEP condition with a dynamite product

I LOVE DAVINES, conditioners.....or Philip Kinglseys Elasticizer....both Excellent..........
    they leave my hair dry.
    i think its GOOD!

Which is the number one rated Volumizing Shampoo?

Pantene? Paul Allen? Herbal Essence? Aussie? Perk? Head %26amp; Shoulders? Goodluck.Which is the number one rated Volumizing Shampoo?
The best volumizing shampoo I've tried is Frederic Fekkai's Full Volume Shampoo. It's AMAZINGly good and works perfectly. Though it may seem slightly expensive, it's a really great investment. It also contains a lot of natural products, which is always a plus :) It's great on guys and girls, too! It's high-quality stuff. Try it!

volumizing shampoo actually does not volumize your hair.

Is there any way people can agree on one shampoo to use?

    dove or garnier fructis

they both smell good, they make your hair feel great, and dont damage it! =)Is there any way people can agree on one shampoo to use?
Why should they have to? Different people have different hair. I have naturally wavy hair that tends to frizz and my husband has perfectly straight, sort of limp hair. I buy the cheap Suave Strawberry shampoo he likes and Pantene's Smooth %26amp; Sleek 2 in 1 for me. The kids use a children's shampoo made by Suave that won't irritate their eyes.Is there any way people can agree on one shampoo to use?
Probably not, because everybody's hair responds differently to different kinds of shampoo, because everybody's hair has it's own set of problems.
There is no reason to do this. Plus, you need to use at least two shampoos, otherwise the first will create build up that can't be washed out. A second shampoo washes out the build up created by the first.
I tend to change shampoos frequently. I just want variety.
    it is highly unlikely
    No.
Yes. If the people are flexible.
